COURSE OVERVIEW

Horizon Point’s FCD Training and Certification program is NCDA approved and provides individuals with relevant skills and knowledge to assist others in planning careers and obtaining meaningful work.

The FCD training program has all the great career development content and now features the option for any successful completer to be eligible to apply for the competency-based Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) Credential at no additional fee.

About Facilitating Career Development Training

Facilitating Career Development (FCD) Training — formerly Career Development Facilitator (CDF) Training — provides career development practitioners working in a variety of settings with the skills and knowledge to successfully deliver career services. Trained professionals may work in:

  • Workforce Development Organizations

Developed by the National Career Development Association (NCDA), The Facilitating Career Development curriculum is 120 hours of training that certifies career development practitioners in 12 competency areas. The training is also a component of Global Career Development (GCDF) credentialing.
