Jillian Miles Massey is a Talent Development Consultant with experience in higher education, industry, and not-for-profit volunteer leadership. As a faculty member at Auburn University, she designed, taught, and facilitated university courses and career development programs in the fields of management, human resources, entrepreneurship, and organizational development. She is now an Adjunct Instructor at Athens State University. Jillian started her career in recruitment & selection and training & development internships for Fortune 500 companies Sherwin-Williams and The Walt Disney Company. Now, she and the team at Horizon Point support organizations with HR and talent development consulting services.
Jillian values community involvement and serves as an active volunteer leader and member of professional and civic organizations, including the Alabama Society for Human Resource Management (ALSHRM), Association for Talent Development (ATD), National Career Development Association (NCDA), and Leadership Greater Huntsville.
Jillian loves trying new things and visiting new communities as a global citizen. She has climbed The Great Wall of China, the stairs of the Colosseum in Rome, and the summit of Diamond Head Mountain in Honolulu. Her love for new experiences drives her professional work as she seeks to help others find passion and personal growth. Invite her for coffee at your favorite local shop!
Jillian is a graduate of Auburn University with a BSBA in Human Resources Management and an MBA with a focus in HR. She is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), and a Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP). Jillian also holds an Instructional Design Certificate from the Association for Talent Development.
